Standing firm, alert.
Sturdy, sure, set in their footsteps.
Solid, confident, strong.
Until the chime of the bell.

Questioning, moving,
Feet move as one.
Relaxed, almost there.
When the bell chimes.

Leaving, deserting the posts.
But not long before,
They're occupied again.
After the chime of the bell.
